Grade 9 Students: Take Our Kids to Work Day
What: a 1-day event for Grade 9 Students
When: Wednesday, November 1, 2023
Why: To explore the career/workplace of a parent, guardian, family friend, neighbor or community host. Learn more here
How: Parents/guardians are responsible for making arrangements for their grade 9 student to go to work with someone they know.
**Parents/guardians are asked to complete and submit The Take Our Kids To Work consent form by October 30th, 2023. Online forms are preferred, but paper copies will also be available in Student Services.**
Students that are unable to participate in this opportunity can explore resources from The Students Commission of Canada
Teachers of grade 9 students will not be covering new learning for their subject in class on this day. Students participating in this initiative will be excused from classes.
